Experience Manhattan's Best Cold Plunge Without Getting Wet in Our Cryosauna!

A cold plunge, also known as cold water immersion, is a form of hydrotherapy where one immerses one's body in cold water for a short period of time. It is often done in a tub of cold water or an ice bath. The water temperature is typically below 59 degrees for a cold water bath. The water temperature of an ice bath typically ranges between 32 to 45 degrees.

Better Science Than Ice Baths - An ice bath is a practice where a person submerges their body in ice-cold water for a certain period of time, usually around 10-15 minutes. It is often used by athletes, particularly after intense physical exercise or training, to aid in recovery and reduce inflammation.

The water's icy cold temperature constricts blood vessels and reduces swelling, which may help alleviate muscle soreness and speed up recovery. Some claim ice baths can enhance circulation, boost immune function, and increase mental clarity.

Cold plunges are often used as a refreshing way to invigorate the body and mind and promote various health benefits. Most people find cold plunges energizing and revitalizing, as the cold water can stimulate blood circulation and reduce inflammation.

Visit Our Infrared Sauna After Your Dry Cold Plunge

Chill Space offers the cold plunge experience without getting wet, making it significantly more convenient while achieving better results. Instead of climbing into an ice bath, you use the Chill Space Cryosauna. Using the latest technology direct from Finland, our cryosauna energizes your body with pulsations of nitrogen mist at a temperature of -220 degrees. The three-minute hyper-cooling process lowers the skin's temperature between 30 to 40 degrees, accelerating muscle recovery and producing a rush of endorphins.

After your cryosauna session, you have the option to add in and warm up in our full spectrum infrared sauna. Unlike standard saunas, our Clearlight Sauna is uniquely designed to heal and detoxify by combining infrared light with chromotherapy. Using three separate wavelengths of infrared light, the radiant heat emitted from a full-spectrum sauna penetrates deeply into the muscles, joints, and body, alleviating pain and removing impurities on a cellular level.

Chromotherapy, or color light therapy, adds another layer of healing to your sauna experience. It has been shown to ease the winter blues, alleviate stress, combat depression, and has been used in ancient civilizations across the globe, from the Egyptians to the Mayans. Whether you want to detoxify, relieve pain, or relax, our full-spectrum infrared sauna will satisfy all your needs.

"One of the things I love about the Chill Space cryosauna is that the ice cold temperature is adjustable. This feature allowed me to start out slow and work my up to a maximum benefit!"
